Organized Chaos

Organized Chaos, founded in 2010, is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to increase public awareness of the amateur sport of Dragon Boating, to promote Dragon Boating for health and recreational benefits and to educate paddlers through practice and participation in paddling competitions. Organized Chaos also supports and competes in other paddling disciplines which include Outrigger canoes (OC1, OC2, OC6), paddleboard and kayaks. When not on the water, Organized Chaos supports local charities through volunteering and financial support which include protecting our local waterways, team building events and festivals for non-profits and local businesses.

Dragon Boat at the Beach

We are a senior team of senior Breast Cancer Survivors and supporters that enjoy paddling out of Safety Harbor at the Reserve in South Carolina. Our mission is to promote positive, emotional, spiritual and physical well being through Dragon Boat. By celebrating each victory, we “awake the dragon within” with encouragement, inspiration, hope, and camaraderie!

Leadership Beaufort Alumni Association

Leadership Beaufort connects participants with prominent civic, business and government leaders. It is an interactive process for the “movers and shakers.” Each year this group of participants learn not only what is going on but how to make a difference in the community. The program builds community trustee leadership through an in-depth view of cultural, economic, historic, social, educational, environmental and government resources. The result is that hundreds of alumni have made countless contributions to the community and its quality of life. Alumni of Leadership Beaufort continue the learning process fostered during the program through ongoing education as part of the Leadership Beaufort Alumni Association.

Dragonflies

The Dragonflies team is made up of a group of women from Sun City who love to play softball and came together to support this great cause. We have several cancer survivors on the team and plan to have an awesome time while supporting other cancer patients in Beaufort County. Dragonflies are powerful and graceful flyers and we hope to be the same on our dragon boat, even though its our first time paddling!
