Although I have not had cancer, both my daughter and husband are cancer survivors. Several of my closet friends are currently battling cancer. I am dedicating my heart and soul on Raceday this year to Bennet Rolan, one extraordinarly courageous mother, daughter, wife, and friend. She is the inspiration behind my fundraising.
I have participated in several previous Dragon Boat Beaufort events as a paddler and drummer. I am just beginning to walk again following reconstructive surgery on both feet which began in September 2021. Owing to this I hope to be a drummer.
