I first went out on a dragon boat about one year ago, shortly after the death of my brother in law from prostate cancer and also a recurring cancer diagnoses of another family member. Getting some exercise while out on the river on a beautiful day is wonderfully cathartic! Everyone should give it a try. Along with paddling with the Coosaw Point Fighting Squirrels, I am a member of Dragonboat Beaufort and a Raceday volunteer, Please help support Dragonboat Beaufort by contributing to our main fundraising event. Raceday proceeds benefit local cancer patients in the Beaufort County area.
