Sea Witches

A group of friends working in the hospitality industry gathered to fight cancer. We are tour guides and restaurant workers spending the day as dragons. We do this in honor of our family members fighting the fight and those that came before.

Cancer Crushers

The Cancer Crushers represent a multi-disciplinary team of co-workers from the Nancy N. and J.C. Lewis Cancer & Research Pavilion who are dedicated to fighting cancer in southeast, Georgia and the SC Lowcountry. Our Dragonboat team represents nearly 100 years of combined experience in the field of oncology – from medical and radiation oncology, to pharmacy and support services. Backed by the leading cancer program in our region, we are committed to providing patients in the Lowcountry with the latest advancements in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer, right in your own community.

Beaufort Believers

We ALL are “Believers!” We are a group of friends who have come together to help fight this battle.

We would like to thank Donavan Family Dentistry, Hair Play Salon, and Spectrum Designs for sponsoring our boat this year. We couldn’t have done it without you!

BMH Spittin’ Fireballs

The Spittin’ Fireballs are Beaufort Memorial Hospital Employees dedicated to supporting charitable organizations in Beaufort County to improve the health of our community.

Rack Attack

We are the Hilton Head Hospital Breast Center with MUSC Hollings Cancer Center.

Lanier Canoe and Kayak Club (LCKC)

LCKC, changing lives through paddling, legacy program of the 1996 Olympic games. Team here today consists of a few canoe/kayak athletes, a few past Dragon Boat World Champions, Cancer Survivors, and a few corporate paddlers from Stainless Steel Dragons.

Leatherneck Warriors

We are the Leatherneck Warriors from the Villages, Florida. All our team members are 50-85 years of age. The team was formed by a group of marines 15 years ago and has grown to 75 members today. Many of us are retired military or have family members who served. We practice 3 days a week in the Villages and participate in at least one race a month in Florida and the Southeast. We will be going to Canada in July to participate in the CanAm crew championships as part of the recent ‘D’ division (60+) races. We actively support deployed military by sending comfort boxes and messages of thanks. We are a competitive team that believes in putting in the work needed to succeed and we support each other in achieving that goal. Oorah!!
