Richard Ronde

Hi, I am a veteran of the Knights of Columbus DragonBoat team and this will be my third year competing in the DragonBoat Beaufort Event raising money for local cancer survivors. I would like to THANK all my friends and family that sponsored me last year and donated to this extremely worthy cause. Last year your generous donations made me the 2nd highest fund raiser in the entire DragonBoat Beaufort event….. and there were over 500 participants in 2023! THANK YOU! This year I’m setting my sights on the top spot for fund raising. I was only a few hundred dollars last year and with your continued help I know we can do it. Please consider donating generously to this cause. You can also help by sharing this with your family and friends that I may not know. God Bless you. Besides the fund raising there are also races that day. I have been very fortunate to be part of the Knights of Columbus boat that has taken the gold medal in their division two years in a row. I’ve started my training in March this year to help our team maintain our winning ways. It is truly a team effort, 20 paddlers (10 men and 10 women), a drummer to keep the cadence and a coxswain to keep us straight. GO TEAM KNIGHTS!
