Having lost my mother and younger brother to cancer; and forever grateful for the dermatologist who diagnosed our daughter with melanoma and was able to successfully treat it . . . I am humbled to be a part of this event. Being new to Beaufort, I feel beyond blessed by the kindness of so many who have welcomed me in so many extraordinary ways. I grew up in Western New York state and have also lived most recently in Ohio and Florida. My hope is to give back to this wonderful community and to this very special mission.
