Holy City Silver Dragons Bio
The HCSDs is a composite team of cancer survivors and supporters hailing from the Low Country of SC from Myrtle Beach north to Edisto Island south! We represent 2 dragon boat clubs; Dragon Boat at the Beach based in Pawley’s Island and Dragon Boat Charleston. But make no mistake – this may be a “Senior” team but in name only. Over 50 is just a number! They are young at heart and spirit as they paddle together to show that these seniors are a force to be reckoned with, striving to turn back the clock and show that quality of life just gets better and better with age in a dragon boat!
We also want to show that a thriving survivorship from cancer includes everyone, the one with cancer, their family and friends. So here we are all in the boat together to support each other and Beaufort Dragon Boat.
